Jeremy's New Late Model Dirt Track Auto Racing Modified

HELLO TO ALL OF YOU [DIRT TRACK AUTO RACING] FANS AND DIRT TRACK NEWBIES!

Dirt track auto racing is an awesome sport.  Once it's in your blood there is nothing you can do but race.

This web site is dedicated to Jeremy Zufall who is a champion dirt track racer who has won many races on the oval track in the Pennsylvania tri-state area.  He is has just completed working on building a new late model modified (see pic above because he sold the red one you see on his blog now) and he needs your help.  Since this website was started we have had over 180,000 visitors! That's really great.  Thank you!

But we need you now to help him keep him on the track this year and next (he's had two official races and you can find out what happened on our blog at http://dirttrackracing.blogspot.com  .)  If you own a business or know anyone who does, Jeremy will advertise your business on his late model if you will sponsor him.  Dirt track racing is expensive and the average joe can't make it on his own. Please contact him directly at dirttrackcarrace@aol.com if you wish to speak with him further about becoming a sponsor.   Thank you and now. . .

Dirt Track Auto Racing is Awesome.  The engines roar and the dirt flies.  Fans scream.  The noise is deafening.  If you've only watched it on TV then you haven't even begun to experience what it's like in person.  Hopefully after reading some of the pages on this site, you will get excited enough to want to find the nearest dirt track, spend about $10 bucks, grab a coffee or a soft drink, bring a blanket to wrap up in (and glasses to keep the dirt out of your eyes), and experience this thrilling sport first hand.  Believe me.  It's just not the same.  You need to "get down and dirty" in the stands beside the dirt track.  It's a real experience!

WHAT IS [DIRT TRACK AUTO RACING]?

"Dirt track auto racing" is one form of auto racing that takes place on dirt oval shaped tracks.  Dirt track auto racing got its start in the United States before World War I and became very popular during the 1920s and 1930s.  There were two different types of race cars that dominated this type of racing:  open wheel racers which were popular in the Northeast and in the West, and stock car racing which was popular in the South. The open wheel racers were built specifically for racing mainly on asphalt tracks, and the stock cars were any type of ordinary car that the racer modified in some way.  Stock cars could race on either asphalt or dirt tracks.

Dirt track auto racing is still the single most common form of auto racing in the United States. It is estimated that there are as many as 1500 regional and local race tracks nationwide.  Dirt track auto racing is also popular in Australia and Canada.  For variety, many of the dirt track cars also race on asphalt during the racing season.
